Members of the #twitchfam decided we wanted to motivate ourselves to get into shape, because we spend so much time sitting and gaming, it’s important to take care of ourselves too.
Now, creating a challenge for this group is harder than it seems. Everyone has their own goals and visions, some of us want to shed some pounds while others of us are aiming to build some muscle. So for the #twitchfitchallenge we’re asking you to make up your own goals and pledge to them. You are essentially competing against yourself, but with the undying support of the #twitchfam we’ve grown to love. Anything is possible.
The goal is to make your pledge attainable, but something also to push yourself and give you the end results you’re searching for. For example, if you want to pledge weight loss, a great goal would be 8-10 lbs, as recommended healthy weight loss is 1-2 lbs per week. (If you don’t have a scale, could also pledge losing a pant size!) You can also pledge something simple like 30 squats a day. It can be as challenging or easy as you need it to be. We’ll post everyone’s pledge, but the actual progress will be done through the honour system. Technically, you can lie to us about the progress, but that’s not going to help you in the end. Also, it kinda makes you a poop head. You don’t want to be a poop head, do you?
Create an attainable fitness goal for yourself. (eg. Weight loss, Muscle gain, no sugar, no soda, healthier eating)
Starting December 12th, 2015 until January 31st, 2016.
You had fun, you feel good about yourself, and of course you get bragging rights.
Those who do not successfully complete the challenge will be subject to an embarrassing twitch stream. (eg. Stream in a pink bunny onesie.) What you’ll have to do will be left up to the #twitchfitfam winners, so be careful.

How to Participate?
There are two ways to pledge. The first is to simply comment on this post with your Twitch username, your pledge, and then get to sweating! You can also tweet at @Orions_Legacy with your pledge. All are welcome to join in this challenge, whether we’re a week in or just starting. Please invite anyone that wants to by sharing this link, and fill out their twitch name, pledge, and twitter (if applicable).
